Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: November 2, 2026
This policy covers the Daye Health Transport website and mobile apps, also listed as Daye Health Transportation. In this policy, “Daye,” “we,” and “us” refer to the transportation service operating under that name. God Complex Productions is the app publisher and developer, not the transportation-service operator.
1. Information we handle
- Accounts and contact details: your name, username, email address, phone number, account role, verification status, and sign-in information. Daye stores password hashes rather than readable account passwords. If you enable multi-factor authentication, we also handle the information needed to verify authenticator codes and recovery codes.
- Ride requests and services: pickup and destination addresses, apartment or unit information, ride dates and times, return-trip details, accessibility needs, special instructions, ride status, assigned driver, distance, fare, and payment status.
- Information that may be sensitive: assistance requests, appointment destinations, incident reports, waiver details, signatures, and emergency contacts. These details may reveal information about health or disability even though Daye is a transportation service.
- Family sharing: invited contacts’ names, email addresses, relationships, invitation status, and the ride information shared through that feature. Only provide another person’s details when you are authorized to do so.
- Location and devices: driver location during active trip tracking, device or installation identifiers, push-notification registrations, browser or app information, and notification preferences.
- Payments and communications: booking and transaction references, amounts, payment or refund status, support messages, incident communications, notification delivery information, and reviews you submit. Stripe handles card entry and processing; Daye does not receive your full card number or card security code through its checkout.
- Security and operations: IP addresses, user-agent or device information, timestamps, authentication and account-management events, and administrative audit records.
2. How we use information
We use information to create and protect accounts; review, schedule, price, assign, and provide rides; arrange accessibility assistance; process payments and refunds; send service communications; support family sharing; investigate incidents; answer support requests; prevent misuse; and maintain operational and security records.
We do not use ride or health-related information for targeted advertising. Daye’s website does not currently include an advertising pixel or a separate website analytics tool. Service providers may still process technical diagnostics and service data needed to operate their systems.
3. Driver location and shared trip progress
The mobile app requests location permission for driver trip tracking. During an active trip, driver location can continue to be collected when the app is in the background or the screen is locked. It is used to show trip progress to dispatch, the rider, and authorized viewers. The app is designed to stop active collection when tracking or the trip ends; it does not intentionally start continuous tracking for an idle, signed-in driver.
The driver app may temporarily queue location updates on the device when delivery is interrupted and send them when connectivity returns. Device permission settings can restrict location access, but doing so can prevent active-trip tracking from working.
Rider or family viewers do not need to share their own continuous location merely to view a ride. A tracking link can reveal trip progress to anyone who possesses the valid link until it expires or is revoked. Do not forward private tracking links to people who should not have access.
4. Who receives information
- Authorized Daye staff and assigned drivers receive the information needed for dispatch, transportation, support, payment administration, and incident handling.
- Family members and other authorized viewers receive the ride information enabled through family sharing or a valid tracking link. You can manage family sharing from your account.
- Service providers support hosting, databases, communications, authentication, maps, and payments. These include Vercel, Render, Supabase, Google/Firebase, Apple, Stripe, and Twilio SendGrid, as applicable to the feature you use. God Complex Productions may handle information needed to develop, maintain, or support the app on Daye’s behalf.
- Other disclosures may be made when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or valid legal process, address an emergency, investigate misuse, protect people or the service, or carry out a business transfer subject to appropriate protection of the information.
Daye does not sell personal information or provide it to advertising networks for targeted advertising.
5. Third-party features
Google Maps receives information needed to display maps, find addresses, or calculate routes, which can include addresses, coordinates, and technical request information. Apple or Google processes information when you choose its sign-in option. Firebase supports those sign-ins and notifications and may process installation identifiers, IP addresses, and other service information. Stripe processes information entered in its hosted checkout and may process it under its own responsibilities, including fraud prevention.
These providers have their own privacy notices: Google, Firebase, Apple, and Stripe. See our Cookie Policy for related browser storage.
6. Your choices
You can update account details, manage available email and push preferences, enable or revoke push on individual devices, manage family contacts and sharing, and enable account-security features in your dashboard. Account-access, security, and payment messages may still be sent when needed. Essential ride alerts require an available delivery channel.
Push notifications and emails can be visible on a shared device or lock screen. Your phone, browser, and email provider offer additional privacy controls. Revoking a device stops future Daye sends to that registration; messages already sent may still arrive.
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete information, or raise another privacy request. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting, especially when a request concerns another person. Any rights and exceptions depend on the law that applies to your situation. We do not charge for ordinary account privacy controls.
7. Account deletion, retention, and returning users
Riders can request account deletion from the Account section of their dashboard. Active bookings or trips must be resolved first; contact dispatch if you need help. Drivers, administrators, and anyone unable to sign in can contact us for assistance. The steps are described on our Account and Data Deletion page.
Deleting a rider account removes its login and profile and erases personal details from retained service records, including contact information, addresses and coordinates, signatures, and identifying free-text content handled by the deletion process. De-identified ride and incident summaries and certain operational or security records remain. Provider-side account removal can require additional processing.
If the deleted account had a verified email address, Daye retains a secret-key-protected fingerprint of that email to match the retained history. This is not a readable copy of the email, but it remains an identifier that can link records. If you register again with the same email and verify it, eligible retained history can reappear in your dashboard. Erased addresses, signatures, and other removed details are not recovered.
Retained historical summaries, matching fingerprints, audit records, and backup copies do not currently have a fixed automatic expiration. Deleting an account does not automatically erase those records or provider-held records. Contact us to ask about additional deletion of retained information; we review requests with regard to security, operational needs, and applicable requirements. We retain other account and service information as needed to administer the service, payments, incidents, and security.
8. Protecting information
We use safeguards including encrypted network connections, encryption for protected stored fields, password hashing, access controls, and account-security measures. Driver apps use operating-system-protected storage for active trip credentials. Access is limited according to roles and service needs. No online service, device, or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure; protect your sign-in details and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
9. Children and people acting for others
The account features are intended for adults arranging or providing transportation. Parents, guardians, or other authorized representatives should use their own accounts when arranging a ride for someone who cannot make the arrangement themselves. We do not intend to collect account registrations directly from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided account information without appropriate authorization.
10. Where information is processed
Daye serves Pennsylvania. Daye and its providers may store or process information in the United States and other places where their systems operate. Privacy rules may differ between locations. This policy does not replace any separate privacy notice that is legally required for a particular service or organization.
11. Updates and contact
We may update this policy as the service or its practices change. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated when required; changes do not remove protections or choices required by applicable law.
